In late March we are bringing back for the fourth time our most popular curriculum – Hollow Forms – the art of organic sculpture out of a bubble of glass! More than any other class this one has proven to have a profound effect and leave a lasting impression on those who have taken it.

This is a hands-on instructive class that will focus on specific techniques for free-form sculpting hollow bubbles of borosilicate glass. Students will watch the instructor demonstrate a form and then practice that form themselves. Each demo will build upon the last until the class culminates in a hollow human figure. This is our most popular curriculum and always sells out fast. A minimum of two years experience is required to take this class. Limited to ten students total.

There are ten spots available for this class. Five students can lodge with us in our studio bedroom with attached full bathroom. Five students will have to find their own accommodations at a motel or air b&b nearby. (Please note that we cannot allow camping or sleeping in cars on our property.) Tuition is tiered accordingly. When you sign up, please indicate which tier you want.

Tier 1: Lodging and workstation, all meals: $1000 (limited to five)

Tier 2: Workstation but no lodging, all meals – $850 (limited to five)

All materials and meals are included in the tuition. Students should bring their torches and favorite tools. A 50% deposit is required to enroll with the balance due on the first day of the class. Cancellations within 30 days of the class are non-refundable.
